This policy explains what happens to information you send to AK Apex through this website. It covers this website only.
What we collect
If you fill in the estimate request form, we receive exactly what you typed into it:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- your email address, if you chose to give one;
- the service address or ZIP code of the job;
- the type of work you are asking about;
- your description of the problem;
- how you would prefer us to reply.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank details, social security numbers or any other sensitive identifiers.
Why we collect it
For one reason: to answer your request, schedule a visit, and do the work. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to a private Telegram group used by our team, over an encrypted connection. Telegram processes the message in order to deliver it. From there we may also keep your details in our own scheduling records so we can carry out the job.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to service the work and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner — see below.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising pixels and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Nothing here follows you around the internet. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
We use a short-lived count of requests per IP address to stop automated spam reaching the form. It is held in memory only and is not linked to you.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the contact details below and we will deal with it.
Children
This site is aimed at property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
